Connecticut State University. Mercer’s two goals were his fifth and sixth of the season, putting him in second place for the Owls in goals scored this season. Mercer’s first goal came with less than six minutes remaining in the game with the Owls down a goal. Mercer finished his goal to tie the game at one and send it into overtime. Mercer’s second goal came in the ninety-ninth minute, lifting the Owls over the Colonials of Western Connecticut State in their final game of the season. The Owls finished the season with a record of 5-11. Mercer finished his season with six goals in 16 games and his career with 16 goals in 65 games.
